I saw this movie and "Up" on the same day within an hour of each other at different theaters. Anybody who loves 'Gulliver's Travels' (count me as one) will love this. This film, made at the outbreak of WW2 was one of the first 5 full length animated films ever made, and displays superb animation. All the little bugs have great hearts and a story to tell.The humour is spot on with some catchy tunes. Mr. Bug gives an entertaining insect's-eye-view of Manhattan and its "human ones." While Disney have been THE animation studio for the past 70 years, there have always been rivals to their supremacy. The artwork, the animation, the characterisations, the storyline - all superb. You forget it is the bugs relating to one another.
