While the Wu-Tang sound is there, Cappadonna is truly doing his own thing. Do a party? I have to play front and center now. Gone. Stripping and strip clubs don't' excite me. But he gave them to me on a CD first, so I was able to go and sit down with 'em, chill out with 'em, talk to 'em, and that was how I was able to, when I came back to the studio, just smack them all in the head. MVRemix: You are getting more points on 'The Struggle' album though, right? MVRemix: For people who do not know, how did you get involved with Wu-Tang Clan? Cappadonna: Point blank, they don't roll through the suburban areas like they do in the ghetto. It could've been a seasonal thing, but at the same time it was something that needed to be expressed. While he was not on the debut "Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)" album, he soon became a major part of the Wu-Tang phenomenon. I never looked for this kind of stardom or whatever the case may be. Who is on it? Cappadonna: It's like a lot of people out there, they don't want God in their life. I don't care. If everyone is not really feeling it, then it ain't gonna pop. Through this struggle, Cappadonna has endured, has become a hero to his family, and has found meaning in his life. It was a blessing that everything added up to that. In the end he has proven himself to be a humble, straightforward, and truly talented emcee that has been in the game for decades and shows no signs of slowing down.
