PSY 3120 - Tests and Measurements

Tests, psychophysical methods, scaling techniques, and questionnaires. Topics may include anatomy and theory of prefrontal function, frontal lobe clinical syndromes, pharmacology and genetics, emotion control and cognitive training. Prerequisite: Psyc 102. Extensive survey of individual differences and their relationship to genetic factors. Topics include structure and function of the nervous system, behavioral endocrinology, psychopharmacology, sensorimotor functions, sleep and waking, motivation and emotion, reinforcement, psychopathology, and learning and memory. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing. The program offers start dates in the fall and spring. Prerequisite: Upper-division standing. Learners take classes on topics like psychological interventions, applied cognition, and principles of human factors.
